ELIDA — Susan E. Winegardner, age 72, of Elida passed away 10:15 a.m., Monday at Mercy St. Rita's Medical Center Emergency Department. She was born Oct. 14, 1945 in East Orange, NJ to the late Charles D. and Marian Elizabeth Horton Blauvelt. She married Robert B. Winegardner Feb. 19, 1966 and he survives in Elida.

Susan had a babysitting business and had cared for many many children over the years. She enjoyed doing crafts and had a booth at the Elida Flea Market. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Additional survivors include sons: John (Gina) Winegardner of Bellefontaine and Jason (Shelby Lutterbein) Winegardner of Elida grandchildren: Cody, Carmi and Annabell Winegardner, Melissa Peterson, Seth Schultz and Drew Lutterbein, great grandchildren: Aaliya and Madi, a twin brother: Fred (Diane) Stickel of Toms River, NJ and sisters: Racie Gracie Ruckstuhl and Helen (Tony) Paz both of Pensacola, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Jeremy Winegardner, a sister: Ann Louise Howell and a brother-in-law Ted Ruckstuhl.
