— Jesse "J.D" Daniels, Jr., age 69, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at approximately 9:15 am in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born on April 15, 1945 in Greenwood, Mississippi to the union of Jesse and Margarette Petaway Daniels, Sr., his father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima, Ohio. Jesse recently moved to Arizona but had lived most of his life in Lima. He was previously married to Rosalind Thomas from South Bend, IN. Jesse was a graduate Lima Senior High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force, 814th Med Group and was honorable discharged on June 29, 1969. While here in Lima he worked for LAACA, later he was employed at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Ind. He loved Karaoke and loved to write poetry, he was a football and basketball fan. He was known for his love of God and his many family members and friends. Besides his loving mother Margarette he leaves to cherish his precious memory 2 stepsons; Willie Lee and Yul (Kailah) Lee; 2 stepdaughters; Juanice McKinstry, and Tashica (Sir) Brown. 17 grandchildren. 4 sisters; LaVerdia Duncan, Dorothy Parks, Jessie Mae Daniels and Ora Lynn Scott. 2 brothers; Robert (Cynthia) Bolden and Michael (Linda) Bolden. Over 140 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Russell, Sr., officiating.
