Jeff was a genuinely pleasant man.  I stopped in to see him a few years when he was Pastor of St. Luke Lutheran church, where I went as a kid.  We reminisced about parishioners who still attended St. Luke, 40 years after I was there.  It was apparent that he loved those people, and I'm sure they returned the feeling.  Jeff, and his infectious laugh, will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
