BRETT KRAYER

BOULDER, Col. — Brett E. Krayer, 66, of Coal Creek Canyon, CO, formerly of Lima, died November 30, 2013 at Boulder Community Hospital, Boulder, CO.

He was born December 2, 1946, the son of Paul and Marilyn Krayer Mitchell and John E. Mitchell, who preceded him in death.

Brett worked as a freelance carpenter in Coal Creek Canyon after four years in the U.S. Navy and attending Parsons College, Iowa. He was the ultimate sports enthusiast and managed to hang in there Saturday, until the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines.

He will be sadly missed by his life partner Mary Krayer and his beloved dogs, Hilda and Huxley, a brother Paul Timothy Krayer of Pagosa Springs, CO, three sisters Mimi Mitchell Morrison of Crosby TX, Karyn (Norm) Stokes, Kitt (Steve) Pendergast both of Lima and eight nieces and nephews.

Services will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday at the Coak Creek Canyon Hall followed by a celebration of life.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society of the charity of donor's choice.
