LIMA — Roy Alfred Mackey, 67, died at 11:30 a.m. July 29, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born Jan. 20, 1945, in Lima to Raymond Paul and Valara Adelle Meadows Mackey, who preceded him in death.

On Nov. 2, 1964, he married Carole Lynn Leonard, who survives in Lima. Mr. Mackey was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired as a stockroom supervisor in 2006 from Milcor, after 30 years. He enjoyed boating and fishing.

Survivors include two sisters, LaDonna (Rick) Ogdan and Pam Mackey, both Warsaw, Ind.; a half sister, Pat Ervin, of Indianapolis; a sister-in-law, Wanda (Eldon) Miller, of Lima; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruth (Ned) Scheele.
