LIMA — Sue Ann Waddle, 74, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Shawnee Manor.
Sue was born on November 16, 1946, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Edward Junior Shook and Ruth Lucille (Caughman)Perrin. Sue was raised by her mother and Ralph Perrin. On September 3, 1966, she married Gary Waddle who survives in Lima.
Sue was a graduate of Elkhart University and was a Phlebotomist/Hematologist for over 40 years. She worked at Lima Memorial Hospital and Medi-Lab. Sue enjoyed reading and gambling, especially the slot machines. Sue also enjoyed watching her son and grandkids play sports. Sue loved to travel all over the United States.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Doug Waddle of Lima; Five granddaughters, Kaitlyn (Ty) Browning, Abby, Chloe, Mia, and Lexi Waddle; Great-Grandchildren Lily and Gunnar Browning; Two sisters Shirlee Graham of Findlay, Debby (Roy) Boop of Lima, two brothers Steve Shook of Texas and Barry Shook of Lima; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Rick Shook and a brother-in-law Doug Graham.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Her cousin Elizabeth Hostetler will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's choice.
