DAVID POE

Dave was a welder by trade, retired from General Dynamics, Lima Tank Plant. He was a longtime member of the UAW, he enjoyed working outside, woodworking, classic cars, and his children and grandchildren. He raised some of his grandchildren, and his love and care for them always showed, and theirs for him as well.

Dave is survived by his son; Mark (Jennifer) Poe, of Findlay, his grandchildren; Kim (Joe) Cockerell, Allen (Amanda) Poe, Russell (Bailey) Poe, Dylan Poe, Abigayle (Austyn) Webb, and Gibson (Destinee) Poe. He had 13 great-grandchildren as well, and he loved his big family. He was also survived by his three sisters; Dondi (Clayton) Macklin, Carolyn (Joe) Kleinknecht, and Betsy (Bill) Jackson.

Friends may call at Hanneman-Siferd Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima Ohio 45805, on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 11am – 1pm, where at 1 pm, a funeral service will be held, officiated by Pastor Gary Hohman. Internment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
