Jack Darrell Piercefield Obituary

Jack Darrell Piercefield, 70, of Lakeview, OH passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home. Jack was born on March 25, 1946 in Lima, OH to the late Ira Piercefield and Mary Fee Piercefield3, who survives in Lima, OH. On July 31, 1981, he married the former Connie Adkins and she preceeded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Laura Ganser and a brother, Mark. He is survived by three children, James (John Lindsley) Piercefield of Baltimore, MD, Teresa Lowe of Wapakoneta, OH and Sean Piercefield of Pataskala, OH, two grandchildren, Dustin Lowe and Zachary Piercefield, three step grandchildren, Timothy Ganser, Leann Ganser and Brandon Ganser, three siblings, Kenneth (Karen) Piercefield of Lima, OH, Debra (Steve) Seitz of Wapakoneta and Linda (Harvey) Freytag of Lima. Jack was a 1964 graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked for N&W Railroad for 10 years and was the manager for the Wapakoneta Eagles for 10 years. He was a member of the Wapakoneta Eagles Aeries #691, Indian Lake Moose Lodge # 1533 and Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post # 39 both in Lakeview. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR races and was a Cincinnati Bengals Fan. His favorite TV shows were Ghost Hunters on Syfy, Forensic Files and Everybody Loves Raymond. A Gathering of Remembrance will be from 3-5 pm, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Burial is in Lima Memorial Park at a later date.
